Bird Of prey Management Course

During our time at Sky birds of Prey you have consistently asked us,
”How did you start flying Birds of Prey?”
”How did you get in to it?”

And so we’ve come to realise that, by presenting these birds as we do, we have a duty to you to provide answers and practical information. Throughout 2019 we will be providing an educational course to train students and the general public on how to handle Birds of Prey.

Moreover, with a combined 50 years of experience here at Sky Birds of Prey, our course is designed to cover all bases. Available to all, the sessions will be provided across evenings, weekdays and weekends. There will be a junior session, youth session and adult session. We understand that learning these new skills takes time. As a result, this course is designed to support you, across the period of a year, with monthly classes. Additionally, individual one-on-one training is available, at an additional charge, if you feel you require any extra help.
You can complete the course at a number of venues across the south-east and London.

For example, they will included the following subjects:

  • Bird of prey Management Introduction.
  • Anatomy.
  • Housing / Captivity.
  • Identifying Species.
  • Dietary Requirements.
  • Husbandry.
  • Equipment Required.
  • Flying And Handling
  • Ailments / First Aid.
